During my Erasmus placement in Ceuta, I really enjoyed working through another language. My future plans will require me to develop a way of selling goods online, so seeing how this was done in Ben Y Ben and how they set up their website and shop was a great experience for me to witness.I feel that I enhanced and developed some of these key areas. I also met new people and made new friends as well as learning another language. Having more experience in a new sector will also be a great help to my CV going forward. I like to think of myself as a confident and independent person but it was interesting to me to analyse how I would react and perform in a foreign environment. I think I did really well, and in the future if another opportunity came up that would allow me to go to another country I would love to put myself in the situation again. Seeing how an efficient business operates from an established business point of view was a really insightful experience for me. Also, it was clear to me that having the right people with good charisma and a similar work ethic is so important to the success of any business.

I have enjoyed almost everything, I did not expect to have such a great time. I really fell in love with that place. From the architecture, monuments, buildings, to all the breathtaking landscapes. Every day was better and better, every day was surprising me more and more until the very end as I've seen some Spanish cities before but never Malaga so that was perfect end of our journey. I also fell in love with the Spanish language, I really want to learn more to speak easily that beautiful language.
After my work placement in Ceuta Actualidad newspaper I feel like definitely I've got great knowledge how the work in newspaper looks which might give me good opportunities for a future, so enhancing my job applications definitely. People I've met this is something I would probably never done without Erasmus and nowadays it is easy to keep in touch through social media as we are friends there certainly. Friends for life, amazing people I've met, I'm so glad. I've also develop my confidence that is for sure.
Erasmus+ experience is for me like one in a lifetime opportunity I'm so proud of and will help me to achieve my future plan because first of all that was amazing knowledge I've gain, as been a member of their team it was extremely valuable experience and also because I've done something I would never dreaming about before which means whatever I really want I can achieve. This experience was extremely motivating for life!

The new friendships that I made I will have for life during my placement in Ceuta. The opportunity to live outside of home independently. Feel more confident about under going employment/education abroad now. I am a better communicator considering the language barrier. I am more confident in myself while working in the business industry. The Erasmus programme has given me useful IT skills, people skills, team working skills and communication skills which I can put to use for my future plans in education and employment. I am better equipped to find employment both at home and abroad which will be an extremely useful tool for me to use in the years to come. I enjoyed my experience so much that I am considering coming back for a holiday with family and friends.

I enjoyed the overall challenge of living on my own for the first time in a foreign country. I had never even gone on a holiday before this and the whole experience was unlike anything I could even this to imagine. I learned a lot of new skills both personal and professional. It is said that life starts at the end of our comfort zone and this experience has taught me just that. I fell in love with the country, the language and culture. I've made some amazing friends while abroad which I have made plans to see in the Summer as well as getting to experience life through their eyes.
I feel that my soft skills have grown exponentially. I have become so much more confident in my ability to think on my feet and find solutions to problems. I would have always prided myself in being book smart but this has taught me that I can apply what I have learnt in the classroom to real life situations. Our tutors spent a lot of time telling us that the most important class would end up being Personal and Professional Development, and though it was a hard module, it is that one that helped me the most in being able to see what was happening within myself and shaping my growth while abroad. I feel that I have gained a lot of transferable skills within the last three weeks that will help me in any job I take in the future with Sage 50 and having worked abroad in a foreign culture and through a foreign language. It has also fueled me with a passion for travel and a fearlessness that, in due course I am sure will fade. I feel that my Spanish has also grown a lot over the last three weeks and I have become much more confident in my ability to learn even if I mess up a few times in the process.
I have applied for year 2 in GMIT and have already been in touch with GMIT in order to find out when and where their Erasmus Placement for year 3 is located. I have establish links with the University of Granada in Ceuta in order to hopefully sit the exchange through Spanish. This is something I would never have thought of doing before and the Erasmus+ has allowed me the courage to do so.

What I enjoyed most about the work Placement was that I got to meet a lot of different people from different parts of England and other countries who work in England in the work place. The skills I learned in the workplace were how to use this app called Paris, this is were you put all the information about Patients/ Clients that would be visited by the Nurses, Doctors etc, it is a really good way to keep track of all the people and also you can put a note in to say if they are still alive. This Erasmus+ experience will really help me in the future as it has shown me what it is like to work in a different country with new people I only met when I got to England.

I was surprised with how friendly everyone was my idea of what it was going to be like was very different to what it was like everyone i worked with was so easy to get on with and enjoyed going in everyday. i've gained experience in travelling alone and it has given me a lot more independence and confidence to see the world and travel more i feel as though it is a brilliant thing to put on my cv and i would definitely apply for jobs in the NHS in the future as i've seen what a brilliant organisation it is to work for and the benefits that comes with it

I enjoyed the culture of Devon and the work that we were doing. i felt that it was very relevant to the work that i want to do in the future and i have become a lot better using excel and using my own initiative. i now know that i can depend on myself in a different country and be able to work and meet new people also. this Erasmus+ programme will help me in the future because it gave me great experience and i feel that i would be able to work to my full potential in an well established organisation.

I enjoyed my job placement as it gave a real world/hands on experience of the work environment. It progressed my skillset from classroom to practical use in working environment, allowing me to improve my teamwork, increase my ability to work independently and work to deadlines. My working day was from 9am - 4pm. With this placement, I have made new friends, with the use of social media will always be in contact, some who's first language was not English. Other skills developed are planning travel journeys (checking timetables/routes/costs) to and from work, money management. As part of a group of 4, who's placements were in other businesses, allowed all to share our experiences and agreed we were all benefitting from this challenge socially and personally. Many of the experiences developed and improved are used daily, but are now better planned since completing Erasmus+ experience. My plan is to progress to third level degree course, with Erasmus+ I know i have made the correct career choice to gain employment in Business Information Systems.
